Evaluating Life Cycle of Buildings Using an Integrated Approach Based on Quantitative-Qualitative and Simplified Best-Worst Methods (QQM-SBWM)

Evaluating the life cycle of buildings is a valuable tool for assessing sustainability and analyzing environmental consequences throughout construction operations buildings. In this study, in order to determine importance building evaluation indicators, new combination method was used based on quantitative-qualitative (QQM) simplified best-worst (SBWM). The SBWM because it simplifies BWM calculations does not require solving complex mathematical models. Reducing time required perform eliminating need complicated computer software are among advantages proposed method. QQM has also been due its ability evaluate quantitative qualitative criteria simultaneously. feasibility applicability were examined using three numerical examples case results evaluated. study showed that estimated cost, comfort level, basic floor area were, order, most important others. had lower total deviation (TD) compared BWM. Sensitivity analysis confirmed approach high degree robustness ranking weighting criteria.
